On 1 September, PrimeAdvisory is moving to the heart of Sydney. After almost 20 years in Chatswood, we’re setting up in the Sydney CBD, at 68 Pitt Street.

This is a big moment for us, and we wanted you to hear the story behind it. Not just where we’re going, but why, and what it means for you.

The short version: the firm you know isn’t changing. The address is.

Twenty years in Chatswood, and one building’s final chapter

Chatswood has been our home for almost two decades. It’s where PrimeAdvisory grew from a small practice into the accounting and wealth firm you know today. We’ve loved it here.

Two things lined up to tell us it was time. Our lease is coming to an end. And the building itself is being redeveloped, something a few of you may have already seen in the media. It didn’t make the heritage list, so it’s slated to come down.

Honestly, we’d been weighing up a move for a while. When the building’s future was confirmed, it simply put a date on a decision we were already leaning towards. Sometimes the timing just makes sense.

We’ve been here almost 20 years, and now we’re thinking about the next 20.

Why the city, and what it means for you

We didn’t pick the CBD by accident. There are three reasons behind the move, and each one comes back to the same thing: a better experience for you.

When we recruit into Chatswood, we’re mostly drawing from Sydney’s north. From the CBD, we can attract the best accountants and advisers from right across Sydney. A deeper talent pool means a stronger team, and a stronger team means better advice and sharper service for you.

Finding us at 68 Pitt Street

Our new home sits right in the middle of Sydney’s transport network, between Wynyard Station, Martin Place Metro and the Circular Quay ferries.

Getting in is genuinely easy. Trains, the new metro, buses and ferries all drop you within a short walk. Buses from the North Shore stop close by at Wynyard. Wherever you are in Sydney, public transport will get you to our door without the hassle.

Driving into the CBD is a different story, so we’d suggest leaving the car at home and letting the trains do the work. Plenty of clients tell us a city meeting is a good excuse to make a day of it.

Wherever you are, you’re covered. Our clients are spread right across Sydney and around Australia, and this location suits that spread better than ever, with the new metro now on our doorstep.

Here’s to the next 20
